Today after worship we will join for a brief Annual Congregational Meeting.  We encourage each of you to stay for this time of sharing & receiving vital information regarding Knox Church. On February 7th, we will also worship together at the regularly scheduled combined Communion Worship Service at 9:30 a.m. Thank you in advance for this adjustment in scheduling.

PLEDGE 2010

We have not received pledges from a number of members at Knox. If you have not yet pledged, please do so. At this time, many of us are uncertain about the future, but we can all be certain of God's love and commitment to us. When we decide to support Him, we can trust that He will take care of us. Just let us know what you can commit too currently, and if you need to change it later on, we understand. The Per Capita for 2010 is $34.00.  For all those who have submitted pledges, thank you!

PREPARE FOR GOD’S PRESENCE!

Preparing in advance for worship helps enhance our experience of God's presence. On February 7th, the 5th Sunday in Epiphany & Communion, Pastor Chuck will preach a sermon entitled "The Persistence of the Saints" based on the theme: "Christian discipleship is not for the faint hearted." Read Isaiah 6:1-8 and Luke 5:1-11and come prepared to be a full participant in the community of faith.

FIRST FRIDAY PRAYER MEETING FRIDAY, FEB. 5TH

The First Friday Prayer meeting will continue every first Friday of the month from 7 to 8 p.m. at the home of Michelle Sorey. The next meeting date is February 5th. Come and join us as we lift up friends, family and the search for a new head pastor.  We need to gather in collective prayer more than ever as we enter a new chapter in the life of Knox. MISSION MINISTRY HOSTS EXERCISE AT KNOX!

Come get in shape with personal trainer, Richy Jacobs! Mr. Jacobs will be training all those who wish to get fit on the 4th Saturday of each month at 9:00 a.m. in the narthex beginning Saturday, January 30th! The training sessions will be 1 hour each, and the cost is $10 per session. For more information please contact Karen Lehman.

COME JOIN US AT CULVER WEST CONVALESCENT CENTER , TODAY!

Join Knox today as we bring Christ to the Culver West Convalescent Center each 5th Sunday of the month at 2:00 p.m. Come out & join this ministry this afternoon with singing, prayer & scripture reading that will help lift the spirits of the residents and encourage their souls. Elder Cliff O’Daniel will be leading in worship and would love to have volunteers join him during this time of ministry.
